Time in Larsen Lab: 2020
Basic Project Description: Trey was able to spend the summer after his graduation working in the lab since his original summer plans were thwarted by COVID-19. We made the best of the situation, and Trey spent the bulk of his summer working to compare 2-Dimensional Video Disdrometer Data to 1-Dimensional Video Disdrometer Data in an effort to help us characterize this new 1DVD instrument.

- Post-Graduation Activities and Current Status -

Trey was kind enough to spend a summer working with us on rain, but his passion lies in nuclear and particle physics. After graduating from CofC he went to the College of William & Mary in Williamsburg, VA to pursue his Ph.D.

Trey defended his Ph.D. in May 2026 ("Strangeness in the Proton through Simultaneous Global QCD Analysis of Partonic Structure in the Nucleon"). In April 2026 he told me that his post-Ph.D. plan is to continue working with Jefferson Lab as a post-doc.
