Eric joined our lab when looking for part-time work during his gap period between finishing off his undergraduate degree at CofC and heading on for graduate studies in astrophysics.

The most recent update I have from him is from early June of 2025 when he informed me that he had about a year left to his Ph.D. (which, given that I'm writing this near the end of June 2026, suggests that maybe he has defended by now). In his 2025 update, Eric mentioned that he had submitted his first lead-author paper and was working on revisions; he was also teaching intro Physics over the summer of 2025.
